Who is Stryker?

Our history is rooted in innovation. When Dr. Homer Stryker, an orthopaedic surgeon from Kalamazoo, Michigan, found that certain medical products weren’t meeting his patients’ needs, he invented new ones and founded a company to make them. What medical education programs do you offer?

We offer a full range of learning opportunities and are always developing new, industry-leading education and training resources. Each year, our Medical Education team trains thousands of healthcare professionals on our neuro, spine, ENT and navigation products. From hands-on laboratory practicums in our M.O.R.E. mobile lab to educational presentations on the most up-to-date medical technologies and care practices, we help healthcare professionals make their skills even stronger.

What is the M.O.R.E. lab?

The Mobile Operating Room Experience—M.O.R.E.—is an expandable OR simulation lab, with eight fully stocked stations and room for 40 people. The facility is equipped with everything necessary to carry out a variety of surgical procedures.

How does navigation registration work?

Can we use the monitors in the room to display the navigation screen?

Yes.

How many points do I need to register for navigation?

We suggest at least four.

Do we have to pin for shunt placement?

No, our patient registration mask also acts as the tracker. The patient’s head can move without losing registration as long as the mask LEDs can be seen on one side.

Where can I find navigation product training videos?

What types of intraoperative imaging does your system work with?

Our platform is built to work well with a variety of intraoperative imaging systems. This gives you much more flexibility in your imaging choices.

What can I use to clean our monitor screens?

You can use any standard surface disinfectants. Once it’s dry, you can use moistened lens wipes or monitor cleaner solutions to remove any streaking.

How does the patient registration mask work?
